Our strategy of operation underlines the continued importance of focusing on building excellent customer satisfaction while maintaining profitable and sustainable business platforms for the company’s future development. In 2013, Mt Olive Nigeria Limited entered into a growth phase and annual increase in organic growth rate. The situation facing all commodity merchants is that they are pressured from many quarters – by consumers, customers, competitors, suppliers/vendors, government fiscal and monetary policies plus foreign exchange disparity. In spite of these factors, Mt Olive Nigeria Limited meets this challenge with relationship to bind consumers, partners, vendors and retailers even closer than ever to the organization with our exceptional customer service support system that is supported by our operational excellence. It is our primary goal to supply high quality consumer goods and brands. At the same time we will continue to increase our product range and service delivery options in the face of prevailing inflation, competition, economic instability as reflected in recent government policies on foreign imports and the dwindling value of the Naira.

Restructuring In recent years, after the global meltdown and especially with the current down slide in the value of the Naira against other major currencies in the international market, consumer taste and trend in the commodity market are changing faster than ever before. It has become increasingly difficult than ever before predicting customer preferences. At the same time, the commodity market is characterized by lowly-priced and low quality products, which force the commodity merchant to deliver high-quality products at the lowest prices to remain in business.

At Mt Olive Nigeria limited, we have adopted several strategies to mitigate the increasing cost of service delivery. For instance, in addition to our fleet of haulage and delivery vehicles and equipment, we have outsourced part of our logistics and haulage facilities to our partners and associates to leverage on their proximity to markets. This is consistent with our commitment to supply the highest quality brands of consumer products at the best price always.
